1. How you think the sound in your chosen example has been produced (production techniques)
I believe the soundtrack was produced by using all computer generated sounds and some edited sounds done on the computer. The music is electronic sounding and has clearly not been made by using real life/ live sound recordings.
Sounds such as the sounds of power surges and industrial sounds could have been made by real life sounds but I doubt that they were because they are too electrical and there are no ambient sounds at all.
2. What post-production techniques have been used to create the soundtrack (using subject specific terminology)
I believe that the soundtrack has used a mixer to combine the computer generated sounds and the possible industrial live recorded sounds together. The computer generated sounds are, I believe, are made separate to the electrical surge sounds due to the fact that the sounds are on top of each other.
3. How the sound design of your chosen examples might enhance the gaming experience for audiences.
This Soundtrack is hard and electrical which complements the violent, futuristic content which the game Battlefront. The game is all about futuristic combat and therefore the sounds of power surges and added to the track to give emphasis to this theme.
When player is engaged in some form of combat then the music volume and intensity increases to give the player an adrenalin rush as you would in a real situation.
